Jens Lohfert Jørgensen
People on the moveDanish consultancy Kirstein Finans has appointed Jens Lohfert Jørgensen as head of investment consultancy. He replaces Lars Hermann, who has become key account manager at the firm. Mr Lohfert Jørgensen previously worked as director at Agroinvest. Prior to that, he was head of investments at Landbrugsrådet, the Agricultural Council of Denmark.

Mats Guldbrand, former head of equities at AMF Pension, has joined the investment committee of the Swedish pension fund for architects, Arkitekternas Pensionskassa.

The board of AP 1 is on the hunt for a new managing director to start in 2008. William af Sandeberg, the buffer fund’s current managing director, is to retire by the end of the year. Mr Sandeberg has held the position since the beginning of 2002 and previously worked at SEB Investment Management.

Sampension, the €12bn Danish pension fund management company, has poached Henrik Olejasz Larsen from ATP, the Danish labour market pension fund, to become its new chief investment officer. Mr Larsen was previously chief risk officer at ATP.

Denmark’s €12bn Sampension has appointed Hasse Jørgensen as its new finance director. Mr Jørgensen joins from the €27.2bn PFA Pension, where he was chief investment officer.

- AP Pension, the €3.62bn (DKr27bn) Danish fund, has appointed Hans Boye Clausen as managing director. Mr Boye Clausen, currently deputy managing director, replaces Holger Dock who will retire in December. Mr Boye Clausen joined AP Pension in 1975. In 1980 he moved to Tryg Pension but returned to AP four years later. Søren Dal Thomsen, who joins the firm from Sampension, is expected to take up the duties of Mr Boye Clausen.

- Vital, the €25.4bn Norwegian pension and life insurance company, has appointed Kjerstin Fyllingen as the new leader of its public sector. Ms Fyllingen joined Vital in October 2002 and was most recently its executive vice president, customer service at the division for individual clients. Ms Fyllingen takes over from Joachim Hoegh-Krohn who joins Argentum, a nationalised investment company.
